Please find below important information regarding payment processing during the holiday season and the year-end settlement period in Poland.
23 December
Domestic and international transfers are processed as usual.
24 December (Christmas Eve)
Due to a public holiday in Poland, the following transfers will not be processed:
– domestic ELIXIR and SORBNET transfers,
– international transfers.
25–26 December (Christmas Day and Boxing Day)
Public holidays in Poland. Interbank settlement is not available.
31 December (New Year’s Eve)
This is the last settlement day of the year. Interbank processing will be limited.
– ELIXIR, SORBNET and international transfers are accepted until 11:00 CET,
– transfers submitted after 11:00 will be processed on the next business day, 2 January 2026.
1 January (New Year’s Day)
Public holiday. No interbank settlement.
6 January (Epiphany / Three Kings’ Day)
Public holiday in Poland. Settlement availability may be limited.
