Igoria Trade SA becomes a BLIK settlement agent

Igoria Trade SA becomes a BLIK settlement agent

Igoria Trade SA, one of the leading issuers of multi-currency payment cards, has joined the ranks of BLIK settlement agents, thus expanding its service offerings. Through this collaboration, IgoriaCard customers will now be able to accept payments via BLIK – one of the most popular mobile payment methods in Poland. This is another step in BLIK’s dynamic growth, as it continues to expand its network of partners both in Poland and abroad.

The potential of BLIK and plans for the future

In the first half of 2024, BLIK had nearly 17 million active users, recording an impressive increase in the number of transactions across all channels. In the first six months of 2024 alone, the system registered over 1.1 billion operations, with users making an average of 6.1 million payments per day. Additionally, BLIK has dominated the e-commerce market, where every second transaction is conducted through its system, and its share of the Polish mobile payment market is estimated at 70%.
BLIK is continuously expanding its offering, with plans to introduce deferred payments (“BLIK Pay Later”) and extend its operations to foreign markets, such as Slovakia, Romania, and other Eurozone countries. Another key development is the growth of BLIK’s proximity payments, which are already available in 154 countries, including Germany, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain. BLIK is also planning to launch contactless functionality for Apple smartphone users, further expanding the availability of its services.
Thanks to collaborations with settlement agents like Igoria Trade SA, BLIK is becoming an even more universal payment solution, offering fast, secure, and convenient transactions for customers worldwide.

New feature: Automatic Transfers

Auto Transfer

IgoriaCard introduces a new feature – Automatic Transfers, aimed at facilitating financial management for users utilizing multiple cards and auxiliary accounts. This innovative function has been designed to ensure the availability of a specified, minimum balance on the card account, thereby increasing financial management efficiency.

One of the main users of this feature is a transportation and logistics company that manages a fleet of over 150 cards issued to drivers traveling across the continent.

“In the reality of the road that our drivers face, unforeseen situations such as technical breakdowns, unexpected accommodations, road fees, or fines require access to financial resources 24/7. IgoriaCard’s Automatic Transfers significantly facilitate financial management in these situations,” comments a company representative.

The Automatic Transfers function allows for the automatic topping up of the card account when the balance falls below a set minimum amount. Users can configure the minimum balance amount, the top-up amount, and choose the source of funds for the top-up – either the main or auxiliary IgoriaCard account. These parameters can be configured individually for different groups of card accounts.

The new feature is available without additional fees for both individual and corporate clients. To use it, one must log in to their account on the IgoriaCard platform, go to the “Transfers” tab, select the “Automatic Transfers” option, and then set the appropriate parameters.

Automatic Transfers are another step by IgoriaCard towards providing its clients with greater control and flexibility in managing financial resources.

New sing in features: trusted devices and e-mail OTP

Strong Customer Authentication

We have released new functionalities supporting secure and convenient sign in into the IgoriaCard platform:

✅ Sign in confirmation with one-time password (OTP code) sent in an e-mail. It is now the default sign in option and an alternative to the previously used SMS OTP.

✅ Adding the browser as a Trusted Device, on which, at subsequent logins, additional confirmation with a one-time code will not be required.

You can mark a given device as trusted by selecting the appropriate consent when logging in. Removing the device from the trusted list is available at the IgoriaCard platform in the ⚙️ Settings / 🔒 Security menu. Periodically, it will also be required to refresh the login authorization of the Trusted Device by re-entering the OTP.

Adding the device to the Trusted ones impact ony the method of signing in to the IgoriaCard platform. Other actions requiring strong authentication, such as confirmation of a transfer order or viewing payment card security credentials will still require a OTP SMS code sent to your device.
